Fishcam (webcam streaming)

So as I mentioned in The Fishtank Rebuild Project, I bought a big tank! I’ve got plans to stock this with, probably, very expensive fish, that are quite rare.

So being a nerd, and having a spare Logitech webcam sitting around, I built a wee webcam streaming service, so I can spy on my big fish tank.

I reckon it looks pretty cool.

Hello Paul, I like your cyberhome. I’m in the Manawatu area and wishing to set up a 200 liter aquarium in our sleepout. I have not had an aquarium set up for many years… I was wondering if you could help me find a young pair of flowerhead ciclids or red devils. I live about an hour’s drive from Whanganui… I could check around the pet stores but I thought you would be a good bet too. Not urgent… still hanging gib in the room.
